Sisters of Mercy arrived to open school, originally travelling by tram from Hamilton convent

Roman Catholic Fair held to raise funds for schools in the Newcastle area. The object of the fair is to raise funds on behalf of the Newcastle, Burwood, Carrington, Stockton, Tighe’s Hill and Adamstown Catholic Schools.
